Ms. Giselle Pascual graduated with a Bachelor of
Science in Psychology from Philippine Normal University.
She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from
the De La Salle University, Manila. She is a board passer
of the August 2019 Guidance Counselor Licensure
Examination and 7th placer among the takers. She is
also a Licensed Professional Teacher.
Ms. Giselle Pascual is a Counselor at the University of
Santo Tomas. With five years of experience in
the mental health profession, she has worked with children, adolescents and adults
from diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns. She has experience working in the academe and corporate setting.
She utilizes a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic
modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic-Behavioral Therapy,
Behavior Modification, Mindfulness and Relaxation. Ms. Pascual believes in working
collaboratively with clients, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges
and achieve their goals. She recognizes the importance of identifying all aspects of an
individual’s life that impact well-being including their support systems, work/school
environment, and overall health in the process. Her interests include self-care, stress
management, career counseling, coping skills, children and adolescent issues:
self-esteem, peer pressure. She continues to educate herself by attending national and
local conferences, keeping up with current therapy research and seeking supervision.
